1. First and foremost, be sure that you are courteous to all from the moment you come to my forum. Treat others the way you wish to be treated, whether you're talking to a guest, another member or a staff member.
2. Do not, I repeat, do not partake in any sort of rude or impolite behavior where the general public can see it. I understand that fights happen and that, occasionally, sex-related conversation may come up. You are not forbidden from such talk, but keep them to the privacy of pms so young guests don't stumble on them on accident.
3. The above rule includes the posting of images. No pornography or anything of the sort in public areas of the site or pms reguardless of what you want. This is no place for that kind of behavior.
4. There is no rule that says you have to like a staff member. In fact there is no rule that says you have to be nice to anyone. No one is more important than others. Members don't have to treat staff special or anything like that. However you do have to comply to their demands. They are the authority figures here and are in charge of making sure the forum runs smoothly and efficiently. You may voice concerns if you don't like a decision that has been made. If the discussion of the decision is neccissary then I(admin) must be Pmed by those who are against the decision. In the end I will have final say.
5. You may voice your concerns to the staff but you cannot right out insult them or argue angrily with them. That is disrespect and I will not stand for it. It is stated in the first rule that you will treat others the way you wish to be treated. There is a fine line between respect and disrespect and I expect everyone to understand that line.
6. As mentioned above, no obscene images are to be shown anywhere on the forum, particularly if they are of a sexual nature. Ginga fan art that happens to be particularly gory or of a sexual nature is allowed within reason, but only in the art section and only in the board that would best represent it. Mature image are to be in signatures and avatars only.
7. No stolen images of any sort. If the owner of a lineart/template gives you permission to use their lineart/template then by all means use them but only if they give you permission. I will not stand for stolen work. This doesn't apply to Ginga screenshots or colored manga scans. Ginga material is published and free to be distributed to the public. But personal works of art aren't yours to take or use in any way unless permission is given. If you need a picture for a character request one or use one of the templates.
8. When posting Out of Character there is to be little to no chat speaking. Small phrases to convey feelings like "lol" to show that you've found something funny is fine. Whole posts are not to be typed in shorthand.
9. This is a Role-Play site meaning that most of the things that you do on the site are going to be In Character.
10. Posts OOC just like IC are expected to follow the conventions of standard written English. You don't have to spell everything perfectly I know I'm not the best speller but give it your up-most effort. Give it your best shot to at least try to use proper grammar and punctuation. Make all posts OOC and IC understandable and easy to read.
11. Do your best to make everything that you type as proper as possible with periods, commas and capital letters in the right places. This isn't exactly expected of Staff but is most desired.
12. Due to the money system functions based on a member's post count, stupid pointless annoying messages, such as "lol", "OMG" or "cool" are forbidden when IC. It is considered cheating on the forum and will not be tolerated by any member. Anyone seen typing replies withing twenty minutes or less to thirty or more posts will be strictly warned and then banned if caught again but only for a limit time by me(Admin).
13. If a thread hasn't been touched in over a month the odds are the thread has died and has been long forgotten. There is no need to reply to threads like that. However if you absolutely wish to continue that thread pm the creator of the thread and talk to them about it.
14. This forum is rated PG to X. OOC transactions are to be kept PG, meaning cursing is allowed but to be kept to a minimum and other sorts of comments and conversations are to be avoided.
15. At this moment there is a character limit of ten to each member. That includes Original/Canon/NPC characters. I don't want there to be a ton of characters being made and then not being used. There is only one way for a member or staff to get more characters and that is if they Pm me(Admin) and ask for permission. I will reply within a week.
16. As far as language goes IC I don't care about the cursing however keep it in a respectful manner. If there is to be a great deal of cursing and gory scenes such as force rape or a character being ripped apart labeled the thread with an R or an X. This will allow all members to know that this thread is for mature members only.
17. Rating system for threads: G is for threads that have hardly any fighting or cursing. PG doesn't have to be labeled as well as G most members should know that if a thread isn't labeled then the thread is fine. PG is for threads that have some fighting and cursing but not excessive. R is for threads that have a bit more gory fighting and more cursing. X is for threads that have basically almost nothing but gory scenes such as characters being ripped apart or force breeding. R and X threads need to be labeled so that members will know that this threads are for mature members only.
18. Post minimum in character is 70 words. Posting more is better, but 70 is enough.
19. Try to use proper grammar and spelling. There is a spell check for a reason so let's try to use it okay.
20. No chat speak IC or wolf speak for that matter. Try to avoid using super large words just make yourself look smart your just going to make yourself look like a jerk. Just write the way you normally would.
21. No over taking or hijacking threads. When posting in a thread with multiple people be sure to stick to a posting order at all times. This applies even during fights.
22. Don't skip another member's turn unless they allow you to or they have an excused absence. After you've waited over a week you are allowed to skip that member and resume the posting cycle. That is until it comes to their turn again which at that time you will have to wait another week.
23. You have liquid time meaning that you can rp in more than one post at a time with the same character. This way you don't have to create a ton of characters to keep you busy.
24. Always enjoy yourself so relax and have fun.
